Jeep Grand Cherokee Trim Levels Explained

Available in five main trims with several customization packages, the Jeep Grand Cherokee has features to suit all lifestyles. Let's compare the Jeep Grand Cherokee trims.

Laredo and Laredo X

The first trim in the 2025 Grand Cherokee lineup is the Laredo, which comes equipped with all the essential features you'd expect from Jeep at an affordable price. Starting at $37,035, this base model has a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine with 293 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. It comes standard with rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission, allowing for an upgrade to 4WD.

You'll find an 8.4-inch Uconnect five infotainment system, a six-speaker audio system, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The Laredo has a full suite of safety features, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision mitigation, and rear parking sensors with automatic braking. Other noteworthy features include dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry and ignition, roof rails, and LED headlights. While the Laredo comes with 17-inch wheels, you can upgrade to the Laredo X to unlock an 18-inch option. The Laredo X also comes standard with a sunroof.

Altitude and Altitude X

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude adds several sleek upgrades. This might be the trim for you if you prefer the latest features that provide convenience and a sportier vibe. Trust us, you'll be cruising around Lewisville in style with the Altitude's blacked-out accents, which include 18-inch gloss black wheels. Enjoy heated front seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, and leatherette-trimmed seats with suede inserts.

Starting at $41,640, the Altitude comes with Jeep's standard suite of driver-assistance technologies, including blind-spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control. A wireless charging pad, power liftgate, and the ability to remotely start your vehicle round out this trim level. Upgrade to the Altitude X to add a single-pane sunroof.
